Bookings Terms and Conditions

  1. Booking Confirmation
    Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive an SMS message and/or an email with your job number, scheduled date, and job address. Bookings are subject to availability and are only confirmed once you receive this notification from Plumbed Right.

  2. Electronic and Verbal Acceptance
    Electronic acceptance of a quote is considered acceptance of the job. Likewise, verbal acceptance of a booking means you accept the terms provided to you via email and text message.

  3. Cancellation Policy
    Our cancellation policy is designed to respect both your time and ours. Preparing for each job requires gathering specific tools and materials, and often our team has already started traveling to your site well before the scheduled time. Last-minute cancellations leave our team without enough time to reassign their schedule, leading to lost time and expenses.

    3.1 Cancellations with Less Than 24 Hours’ Notice: A $270 + GST cancellation fee will apply if you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice. By confirming your booking, you agree to this fee, which covers costs related to preparation and travel. This fee is enforceable and may be pursued legally if necessary.

    3.2 Restocking Fee for Quoted Works: For accepted quotes valued over $3,000, the Company may apply a restocking fee of 10% if the job is cancelled or significantly altered. This fee covers costs associated with materials specifically ordered for the job, which may not be returnable or reusable due to quantity, expiry, or customisation. The restocking fee is legally enforceable if unpaid and must be settled before any additional work can be scheduled.

  4. No-Show Policy
    If our team arrives at the job address and cannot access the property for any reason, it will be considered a no-show, and the $270 + GST cancellation fee will apply. By confirming your booking, you agree to these terms, including the enforceable fee.

  5. Rescheduling
    We’re happy to reschedule appointments with advance notice. To reschedule, please contact us at 0499 281 430 or email michael@plumbedright.biz. Rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur the $270 + GST fee, which is enforceable under these terms.

  6. Restocking Fee for Quoted Works
    Once quoted works have been accepted and booked, a restocking fee may apply if the job is later cancelled or significantly altered. This fee covers the costs of unused or non-returnable materials, as some items ordered for specific jobs cannot be repurposed due to factors like quantity, expiry, or the unique nature of each job. By confirming your booking, you agree to this restocking fee as part of the terms.

  7. Payment Terms
    Payment is due upon job completion unless otherwise arranged before the appointment. Any outstanding balance, including any applicable cancellation or restocking fees, must be cleared before additional work can be scheduled. Failure to pay may result in legal action to recover the balance due.

  8. Service Modifications
    If there are changes to the scope of work or specific requirements, please notify us in advance so we can adjust our scheduling and pricing as needed.
